Improve Search Results With Article Marketing

The key to improving search engine results is to develop quality links to your website. There are a variety of techniques you can use to get others linking to you. One of the most popular and effective methods is through article marketing.

The concept of article marketing is to take authored content that you create and distribute it to websites in need of content. When you distribute your article, you include links back to your website (usually in the About the Author section). These links help to improve your website’s link popularity and therefore search engine results.

Article marketing is most effective when you can create articles that are of value to a wide audience or targeted niche market. Keep these guidelines in mind when article marketing:

1. Use original article content. There are a variety of ways to write articles. I find the best way to generate articles that improve search engine results is to make sure its an original. There are many websites that offer PLR articles (private label rights), article wizards, and so on. Regardless of how you produce your article, make sure it is one-of-a-kind.

2. Make your articles available on your own website. As a starting point, each time you create original content, post it on you website. Google looks for and diminishes the search results of duplicate content. Therefore, it’s important that you stake a claim for your content by promoting it on your website before any distribution effort.

3. Embed your keywords and keyword phrases. When writing your articles, be sure to include your keywords and keyword phrases throughout your document. Using the proper keywords is essential for website indexing and search engine optimization.

4. Write articles with a minimum of 600 words. A number of websites that accept and distribute articles will only do so if you meet article requirements such as minimum length. Many of these websites process a large number of articles and attempt to reduce spam with a minimum word count requirement of 600 words or more.

5. Use article distribution sites. By submitting your article to the largest article distribution sites you improve the likelihood of your article being repurposed by third party websites. Sites like eZineArticles and GoArticles are popular resources for webmasters seeking quality content. If webmasters find the information in your article valuable, they’ll repurpose it on their own website. This viral effect can provide significant traffic to your article(s).

6. Include an About the Author section. At the conclusion of your article, be sure to include an About the Author section. This is one of the most important things you can do to build back links to your site. When other websites publish your content they are required to include this section. Make sure that multiple links to your site are present in order to build link popularity and improve your search engine result placements.

7. Be persistent. The benefits of article marketing are seen over time. As a rule of thumb, you should begin any article marketing campaign with a commitment to produce and disseminate a minimum of 10 articles. This gives you a good footprint in your area of expertise and builds a number of backlinks to your website.

Whether you’re new to article marketing or are an experienced article marketer, each article you produce and distribute provides value to your website when executed correctly. Write valuable content, include an about the author section, and use article distribution websites. You’ll quickly discover that article marketing is a great way to promote a product, website or service!

Article Marketing Tips and Tricks

I have had four hundred and ninety eight articles accepted and published on EzineArticles. I am quite proud of this even though this amount is actually quite small in comparison to somebody like Lance Winslow who has somehow written over eleven thousand. I have learnt quite a lot about what does and does not work in respect of article marketing and in this article will share my knowledge and give my personal tips and tricks which I hope will be of benefit to other authors.

I think it is important to have a weekly goal or target about the amount of articles you are going to write. My own target is to write seven articles each week, this of course is an average of one a day. This should not be too much to ask and will have a huge positive effect on your website if you can carry it off. On some days I am able to write three of four articles and then will have a couple of days when I do not write any. Using this methodology will ensure that I do not become burnt out, I have met many people who have written an average of twenty articles per week but after three months they are completely shattered and are just not able to carry on. They then look to other ways of promoting their sites such as purchasing links.

I always try to ensure that each paragraph does not have more than ten lines as this can put off the reader. I actually like to have around six or seven paragraphs on each article.

The article should have your own mark and style of writing and should in most cases be related to your field of expertise.

You should only submit original content, this may seem obvious to most people however you may be surprised to learn that there are quite a few authors, if thats what you can call them, who submit what are called PLR articles. This is a big no no and I understand that the team at EzineArticles are working very hard to stop these article marketing criminals.

The articles should be of value to the reader for example giving advice etc. I also like to include humour in my own articles. In my opinion each article should have at least three hundred words and no more than six hundred.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this article. If you have any questions or if you would like to find out about my new website promotion service you can e-mail me at info@stammering-stuttering.co.uk

Instant Article Wizard 2.0 Review

If you are a niche marketer and web publisher, you understand that the best way to achieve high search engine ranking for your keywords on Google, Yahoo, and MSN is to continually post relevant, unique and original articles on your website or blog.

Well researched and relevant content is crucial to your online success. It is what gets you indexed by the major search engines and so your ongoing task is to provide quality content that is peppered with the right keywords and includes contextual links in order to profit from articles whether you are targeting adsense income or related affiliate programs.

Instant Article Wizard 2.0 is a very user friendly article writing software interface that makes article research and creation much more streamlined.

Since niche marketing is extremely profitable today, most web publishers are must often write about topics they know little about; many frustrated website owners are now purchasing PLR articles or outsourcing the writing tasks to professionals who generally charge from $5 – $10 per 500 word article. This can become a major expense which can take some time to recoup from earnings.

Instant Article Wizard 2.0 can reduce the time spent on writing and researching by over 75%.

It will take an individual roughly an hour to research and locate suitable information and write a complete article about a niche topic, and you can imagine if the topic is brand new to the researcher this time will be greatly extended.

Instant Article Wizard 2.0 makes it possible for anyone to research AND write quality articles in less than 15 minutes.

Simply input your chosen keywords and the software quickly researches your topic and creates an outline that includes an introduction, article body, and conclusion, and gives you a multitude of relevant sentences and phrases which can be easily woven into a professional and original, keyword rich article in minutes.

I have purchased other article software packages in the past and have not consistently used them because they were difficult to manage and non intuitive. Instant Article Wizard 2.0 is the opposite and you can be creating articles within minutes of downloading the package and really watching one video tutorial is all you need to master this tool.

I’d recommend this piece of software to niche marketers who need to constantly feed sites with fresh content and to article marketers who submit to article directories on a regular basis. This is also ideal for bloggers who manage several commercial blogs which need updating consistently.

Some marketers I know are already using it to supply articles to a client base and so you could actually start an article supply business with Instant Article Wizard 2.0 as your main software component.

It’s easily the best article research and creation software I have used and surpasses in the ease of use and professional results, software priced much higher. For the listed price of $67 it’s really a bargain and a must have for serious article marketers.

The Top 10 Article Marketing Mistakes

In no particular order, here are 10 of the most common mistakes that Article Writers make:

# 1) Creating an un-targeted title: The title of an article is arguably the most important factor in getting it read. If the title is not eye-catching or interesting, you have most likely wasted your time in writing it, as no one will read it.

# 2) Including the article summary in the article body: The summary of an article is meant to provide some insight as to what the article is about. The summary is not supposed to be the first paragraph of the article. Many article directories will reject your article if you include the article summary in the “Article Summary” field as well as the “Article Body.” After reading the article summary, your viewers should not be reading the same paragraph over again.

# 3) Including your Website links inside the article body: When you are writing the body of your article, you should have the interest of your viewers in mind, not yourself. This is not only frowned upon by most article directories it is also poor marketing. Use the signature block to promote your links, as that is what it is for.

# 4) Using “hard-link breaks” in your article: Many people believe that the use of “hard-line breaks” will make the article easier to read. Whether this is true or not, it looks very unprofessional and most article directories will reject your article because of it. A hard-line break is created when an article does not wrap naturally. In other words, the writer hits the return (enter) key in the middle of a sentence to make the line shorter. Just write your paragraphs in a normal format (like this article) and you will not have anything to worry about.

#5) Submitting to an irrelevant category: This is a common mistake that constantly costs Authors valuable Website traffic. Most article directories offer email alerts and RSS feeds. These alerts and feeds are used more than you may think. Ezine publishers frequently sign up for email alerts in the categories that are relevant to their list. If your article is submitted elsewhere you could easily lose valuable exposure.

# 6) Including an irrelevant signature block: Contrary to popular belief, the primary benefit to article marketing is not link building. Even if it were, having a link on an irrelevant page will not do you much good. It is all about getting people to first read your article and second to follow-through to the links in your signature block. With this in mind, why would you talk about your dog care Website in the signature block for an article on SEO (for example)? It just doesn’t make sense. But, the article directory publishers love it, as the viewer will stay on their Website and click on their adverts rather than yours.

#7) Failing to include the http:// prefix within links: This is normally an honest mistake. Although link building is not the biggest benefit to article marketing, it is a factor. Also, most people who are browsing the web are looking for quick resources. If they cannot just click on a link they will move on. Even if the article directory software makes the link active without the http:// prefix, it will most likely not be active when/if it gets picked up by ezine/newsletter owners.

#8) Stuffing keywords into the article body: If you are not familiar with Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) I will tell you that it is the future of search. Many people believe that Google, for one, has already implementing this new complex software that more or less relates certain keywords with other related terms. This means that “keyword density” is a thing of the past and may actually hurt you if your keywords are placed in a unnatural way. You should always be writing for people, not search engines!

#9) Submitting Private Label Rights (PLR) content: Submitting content that you do not own the full rights to is not only going to do you little to no good marketing wise, as it is either all over the Internet or will be in the future, it may very well get your account suspended with the sites that you submit it to. I still see it on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis though.

#10) Submitting to hundreds of different article sites: Mass article submission is a method of the past and is not longer effective. The Search Engine algorithms are getting more and more complex by the day. Not only is it considered a light form of spam to the search engines, serious Ezine and Newsletter publishers frown upon it as well.

Article Marketing Q & A – Should I Use Private Label Rights Articles to Submit Online?

Q: Should I use Private Label Rights articles to submit to the article directories?

A: This is a good frequently asked question that many writers wonder about. I think my answer may be a little different than most.

The easy answer to your question is not just no, but absolutely no.

Here are 3 reasons why:

1. PLR articles are not written in your “voice” – part of what gets readers to click thru from your resource box back to your web sites and blogs is because they want more information about what you have written, and they want it from YOU. They have begun to know, like and trust YOU. There is no “YOU” in PLR articles. You want to write in your voice, not someone else’s.

2. You would be attaching your name to an article that anyone else in the world could attach their name to, and it can show up anywhere. In other words, the same exact article that has you as the author can appear anywhere else online or offline with someone else’s name on it. Not really the image you want to create for your self.

3. The article directories frown on these at best, and some article directories ban them. Article directories are the number one way to distribute our articles, and we want to keep a really good relationship with them.

The bottom line is you want to spend the time and acquire the skills to write in your voice, write quickly, and produce a high volume of great original content articles.

Benefits of Affiliate Marketing For Marketers and Product Owners

Affiliate marketing is derived from Internet marketing. In this program, the ad publisher receives a payment on each customer for any sale done. Affiliate marketing serves as a base for other strategies of Internet marketing where management companies, internal domestic managers and third party sellers are used for search engine marketing, e-mail marketing, display advertising and RRS capturing, so the product launch is successful on the market.

Traffic to the web site is traceable using self-affiliate programs or through any third party. This process surely involves hard work. First, marketing through these means involved spamming, trademark infringement and false advertising. However, since the findings of advance security and complex algorithms, the same is safe for shopping online and doing business.

Through affiliate marketing programs, online merchants find it easy to scrutinize their terms and conditions. Affiliate marketing has become more profitable and opened doors to opportunities facing a stiff market competition.

Benefits:

Affiliate marketing has many benefits to offer its sellers. It provides sellers with a big scope for advertising e-book, software product or any service, cutting down on the marketing costs involved therein. Higher the number of affiliate web sites intended to promote a product, higher is the targeted leads for converting the same into sales. To have a working sales network of people aimed at marketing is the same as affiliate marketing. Here, the commission depends entirely on lead generation.

Benefits to product owners: In affiliate marketing, owners have a great space for promoting their products and services. The market expands when there are more affiliates promoting the product. It is advisable owners do not select associates only for the sake of adding to the strength. Make sure that the Internet site of an affiliate has a connection to the business. If the web site of affiliate marketer fits the product idea, then there are chances that the sales may boost. The web site may attract prospective customers willing to learn about the product.

In affiliate marketing, a number of affiliate marketers promote the products of product owners. This results in more sales in little time. The owner’s Internet site also looks after promoting the product. If the owner’s web site along with that of affiliate marketers caters to customers’ demands, the product attracts more traffic. The web site of affiliate marketers on the Internet directs leads to the owner’s main business site.

Affiliate marketing calls for a tough task of promoting the owner’s product. Affiliates are engaged in this work. Since they work on generating targeted audience to the product, the owner need not invest much effort on the same. This saves both time and money for the owner. All the owner needs to focus on is improving the product quality and putting new products on display.

Through affiliate marketing, owners are able to build a strong customer base in a short time with the help of affiliates. The program creates additional income for them. The marketing banners of their products result in quick sales. As for the affiliates, they need not worry concerning customer support, e-commerce and bookkeeping. It is on the part of the owner to look after these works.

Customers need not attend the owner’s store in person for purchase of a product. They may avail of membership facilities in affiliate marketing programs. This online business has gained popularity ever since the introduction of Internet marketing. Product owners depend largely on this type of marketing for their source of livelihood. Most web site owners actively participate in the program without having to invest many efforts. Simply place an ad on a web site of the affiliates and reap long-term benefits.

Affiliate Marketing For Beginners

“Affiliate Marketing for Beginners” should be a mandatory class that is taught to everyone before they jump into the Internet marketing game with their eyes wide shut. Today, there are easily more than a million individuals trying their hand at affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing can best by described as selling products or services for a company over the Internet. The company pays you a commission for every sale you make for them. There are thousands of companies that have affiliate programs that you can join for free.

Pursue Your Passion

Most affiliate programs do not have a section that covers affiliate marketing for beginners. It will be up to you to learn how to do this through other resources of your own device. Before you decide to affiliate with a company marketing anything at all, find an affiliate program to join that markets products or services that you can get passionate about. Also, it helps to sell to a niche market. Finding your audience first before looking for the product is a great approach. The market means everything.

One of the keys for successful affiliate marketing for beginners is to find products to sell to a niche audience. This is to distill a general theme. As an example, there is an over-saturated market for people wanting to lose weight. This would not be a great idea to affiliate with a company selling general weight loss products because you would be competing against many thousands of other affiliate marketers for this same market. If you distilled this down to men that wanted to lose love handles, then this might be a niche market opportunity to look into.

After doing some research, you have found that there is an affiliate program you can join marketing an ebook for men called “How to Lose Those Love Handles in 2 Weeks”. This is a perfect niche market just waiting for someone. Before you jump on this, find out first if you have a big enough audience to market.

Find Your Niche

Affiliate marketing for beginners is about starting off on the right foot. Finding the right niche market for you that you can become passionate about marketing. Create a website around your general theme, then go out and find affiliate programs that will be perfect for blending into your site’s theme.

If you choose a market that is over saturated or start trying to market a product you don’t really believe in, you will only be wasting a lot of your valuable time. Within a few short months or sooner, you will give it up and quit. Trying to work a highly competitive market will probably not generate the traffic you need to realize a good income. Marketing something you don’t believe in will eventually take it’s toll and not be emotionally rewarding.

Generating Traffic

One of the toughest rules that all affiliate marketing for beginners needs to do is create a clear plan of attack for generating a lot of traffic to their websites. But this can’t be accomplished until you know enough about the different affiliate marketing techniques that are available for you to use. Also, depending on budget constraints, you might find yourself limited to certain methods to generate traffic to your site until you have some sales coming in.

Once you are aware of the methods and tools you can use to generate target traffic, then it’s time to start looking around at what all of your competition is doing. What are affiliate marketers doing successfully? What methods are they using to get good traffic? You can easily use the search engines to type in keywords and see who your competition will be.

In the beginning, affiliate marketing for beginners is about learning the ropes, brainstorming and being creative with your marketing strategies. Many of the techniques you will be using to generate traffic have been done before, but this does not mean you can’t find your own creative approaches to generate streams of traffic for yourself. It’s important to write your ideas down so you don’t forget about them later on when you get sidetracked.

Join a Forum

As a newbie, it would be very beneficial for you to join a few affiliate marketing groups. Many are available in marketing forums and at social sites. There are many successful affiliate veterans that are members of these groups and love to give tips about affiliate marketing for beginners. Most of the successful affiliates are more than happy to lend a helping hand and dole out sagely advice. These marketing forums are invaluable for making friends and contacts that will help bring beginner affiliates up to speed in no time.

Just take a look at the affiliate marketing news and find the best product to sell. The best place to be an affiliate marketer is clickbank, the world’s largest affiliate marketing website. Success in affiliate programs is not easy, affiliate marketing requires extremely hard work. There are many affiliate marketing help message boards around that will answer any questions regarding affiliate marketing that you may have. Once you find the right affiliate marketing niche, it is easy sailing from there.

You will need the following to be a successful affiliate marketer:

1. A Niche Affiliate Marketing Product-You need to find a product potential customer’s NEED, not WANT. Your job is to bring the customer to the sales page and make them NEED the product and not just WANT it. Many customers see products all the time they want, but convincing them they NEED the product will lead to a affiliate marketing sale of up to 75%.

2. A Website- Now you do not need a high cost website, just something basic and neat. The purpose of your website is to offer some sort of review page, reviewing the affiliate marketing product of your choice. You need to show potential customers the benefits of your affiliate marketing product and why they need it.

3. Set up Paid Advertising- Go to Google and click on the AdWords section. You need to bid on keywords your potential customer will search for when searching for your affiliate marketing product. You don’t want to spend to much money here and you may not need paid advertising, but it truly does help and lead to sales.

4. Article Writing-It’s FREE! You need to write as many articles as you can inserting keywords on each article. You need to submit them to EzineArticles. I suggest you submit 50+ articles on any affiliate marketing product you choose.

Affiliate marketing can be one of the most profitable and low start-up costs businesses out there. There is nothing that compares to the benefits affiliate marketing can bring. In less than 4 hours, you can have a product that is already making sales with NO start-up costs.
In whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck!

Affiliate Marketing Company – How to Become a Successful Affiliate Marketer

An affiliate marketing company can be a great source of income for anyone. You can start your own affiliate marketing company and make an absolute killing in this industry. If you do not know what affiliate marketing is, let me briefly explain it to you. Affiliate marketing is selling a product and/or service for another company. When a person buys that product and/or service through your “affiliate link” you get a portion of each sale usually between 30-75% depending on the product and/or service. The best affiliate sites out there are clickbank and paydotcom which are the leaders in affiliate products and affiliate programs.

Internet marketing affiliate programs, affiliate ebook marketing, business online internet promotion affiliate marketing, and affiliate marketing software are just some of the examples of affiliate programs that are worth selling. Now in order to be a great affiliate marketer you need to know how to sell the product you are trying to promote to customers. It will make it a whole lot easier if you’re an expert on the subject.

Now what is the best way to affiliate market products? The best way in my opinion is to do the following:

1. Buy a domain name. You can get one cheap for around 3 bucks at cheapnames

2. Sign up for an affiliate program relevant to the domain name at clickbank or paydotcom

3. Set up the domain URL to be forwarded directly to your affiliate URL without a middle landing page.

4. Over the next few weeks, write articles relevant to the affiliate product you’re promoting along with a resource box with a link to your domain which will forward directly to your
affiliate URL.

BOOM- you got yourself a great 4 step affiliate marketing process that is so simple a 7 year old could do it. There is nothing like making 6 figures a year using a simple 4 step affiliate marketing process. Once you truly understand how affiliate marketing works, you can make some serious cash year after year. It will lead you to quit your day job, buy a new car, a new house, and take care of your family using a little 4 step basic process.

The key is picking an affiliate product that really interests you. This will enable you to write amazing articles and answer any questions the buyers may have. It is a very simple, yet great way to make some killer cash. You can throw your 4 year college degree out the door if you learn how to affiliate market. There are so many companies out there willing to pay hundreds of dollars per sale you bring in. I mean one affiliate marketing sale a day could be enough for you to live off of. I know that I was once a poor college kid trying to make a quick buck to buy a cheeseburger from McDonalds at one point, but I have quickly turned into a multi-millionaire. It is possible, trust me! If you work hard you can accomplish anything.

Article Marketing in 2007-2008 The Rules Have Changed

Article marketing has been a very popular form of promoting a website over the last few years. I myself have written many an article and have seen some superb results. The problem however is the fact that some people have ruined this once great concept which has meant that the major search engines have had to act. Do not worry article marketing is here to stay but all authors need to be aware of how to stay ahead of the game. A few simple changes to the way you currently use your articles is all that is required.

I caught the bug of writing articles in 2005. I was soon posting each article to around forty of the different article marketing websites. I certainly do not do this anymore, I now only submit to what I believe are the five main sites. To ensure that these articles are unique, it is a very good idea to make some changes to the article before submitting them to each site. That way you are helping other webmasters to avoid any penalty for duplicate content. For this reason I also refrain from publishing the article on my own websites.

This is one big must, your content needs to be unique, if you can adopt this approach you will have a much greater chance of reaching the top of the natural search engine results.

There are now so many articles of worthless content from people who are trying to spam their way to the top. Search engines like Google are starting to hit back, I am also very impressed with EzineArticles who now have two editors checking each article.

Forget PLR articles this is the lazy way of promoting your site. Hard work pays off, hire a ghostwriter if you do not have the time but do not fall into the trap of hiring cheap labour from countries such as India, as usual quality comes at a price. English let’s face it is not even their mother tongue.

For 2007/2008 quality is important not quantity. My last tip but an important one to remember, deep linking is essential, do not just point all of the links towards your homepage. Good luck my fellow webmasters.
